Patriotism is the golden word used to define love for one’s love towards his or her country or motherland. It is a feeling that cannot be described in words. This love give a person to sacrifice his life for his or her country. This can be seen mostly in a situation of war where every true citizen wants that his or her country could not be defeated.
Actually, it is the backbone of great deeds in the world. The strength of the nation can be judged from the level of patriotism in the nation. If the nation has great Patriotism for the country, it is impossible to defeat the nation. Patriotism is not just about sacrificing the life in the war against enemies, it is also about our honesty every sphere of our life. Unfortunately, people do a lot of corruption in Government organizations and even do not perform their jobs with dedication. These are all contributing towards fall of our economy. As a result, we have to look towards other countries to arrange finances and to run the country.
On the other hand, we have several great examples of people sacrificing their lives for the sake of their beloved motherland. Tipu Sultan and Siraj ud-Daulah are the best examples who fought several with British Army to secure their motherland and undivided India. Both of these tried their best to stop British rule in Indian subcontinent and defeated them in several battles. But due to black sheep, they lost the war and British empire captured the whole India.
