A science exhibition was held in our school on the 5th February 2021. It was an effort to arouse interest in science among students. Science exhibitions are the key tools to promote science and technology in the country. Students of classes VI to XII visited this exhibition. They were divided into different groups. Each group had a guide who explained the working of models and charts which they saw during their visit to the exhibition. There were twenty five models in all, each showing something interesting related to science. I was accompanied with my favorite teacher Mr. Hadi and other students of my class. We saw many beautiful models and charts there. Some of them explained basic scientific facts and others showed some new inventions which could prove useful for human beings in the future. I understood many things about science which I did not know earlier. So, this enhanced my overall understanding about science. We should hold such exhibitions once or twice a year so that more students get interested in scientific studies.

These models were set to ve awarded in various categories. They spanned a range of topics ranging from the solar system, the water cycle to the biology. Some of them were made by students in our class while others had been constructed by teachers or students from other classes at our school. There were creations by outside kids who’d never even been to our school but whose parents had brought over their creations as part of some science fair project they’d done at home. The last group was made up entirely of models created overseas by kids who’d heard about the exhibition through word-of-mouth and wanted to show off their skills, knowledge and craftsmanship.

Overall, science exhibition was a wonderful experience for all of us. We should hold such exhibitions frequently so that more students get interested in scientific studies. This is main basic line of success of our society.
